adidas Lacrosse and Level 2 Sports are pleased to present the National Lacrosse Classic featuring the top players and coaches selected to represent their region in a showcase event offering extreme competition and exposure to the next level of the sport. Geared to help players better prepare and transition from one level to the next, the National Lacrosse Classic now has two distinct divisions for high school and middle school players.
Tryouts for each division will be held throughout the year in 8 different regions of the country. There will be twenty teams in the high school recruits division and 20 teams in the middle school rookies division. 25 roster spots per team will be filled.
Lacrosse is one of the fastest growing team sports in the United States. The National Lacrosse Classic will provide participant lacrosse players with a socially and athletically rewarding experience to better prepare them to meet the challenges of high school and college academics and athletics.
Players are welcome to register and attend local tryouts conducted by high school lacrosse coaches for selection to their regional team. Selected players will be recognized and honored as adidas All-America.

2008
The National Lacrosse Classic has quickly become one of the premier lacrosse events of the year. The inaugural National Lacrosse Classic was played in July 2008 at the Maryland Soccerplex in Boyds, Maryland. Sixteen teams from 8 different regions of the United States competed for a National Championship as a showcase for NCAA college lacrosse coaches. Team Rochester, representing Upstate New York emerged as the Champion to represent the USA in International Field Lacrosse competition against Canada. The two teams would play for the Brogden Cup in Orlando, Florida with Canada defeating the USA in an exciting best of 3 game series.
2009
Over 60 NCAA college lacrosse coaches attended the 2009 National Games to watch and expanded field of 20 teams compete for the National Championship. Team Rochester from Upstate New York repeated as Champions to claim bragging rights as the "best region for high school lacrosse" in the country while earning the opportunity to compete for the Brogden Cup in International Field Lacrosse competition against Canada. Team Rochester, representing the USA was victorious in the best of 3 game series against Canada to claim the Championship Cup and bragging rights as the "best region for high school lacrosse in North America". Over 18 players on the Team Rochester roster are committed to top NCAA DI lacrosse programs.

2010
An even larger number of NCAA college lacrosse coaches made their way to the 2010 National Games seeking the top recruits. The field of 20 regional teams and 500 underclassmen players gave college lacrosse coaches a opportunity to watch some of the top high school talent in the United States in one, convenient location. The National Games were most competitive with Team Maryland Prep out-scoring Team Washington DC for the National Championship title and chance to represent the United States for the Brogden Cup against Canada in International Field Lacrosse competition.

Giving back to the sport:
This event will benefit organizations such as the U.S. Lacrosse Foundation and R.E.A.C.H.E.S (Rewarding Education Athletic Choices Helping Each Sport) a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2007 to promote, protect and preserve amateur athletics in its truest form. R.E.A.C.H.E.S. provides athletic opportunities to student-athletes of all ages and abilities in a unique environment with the profits of each event earmarked for specific needs in that sport.
